A California vitamin manufacturer is closing its facilities in Northeast Philadelphia and laying off more than 200 employees, according to a state filing.

International Vitamin Corp. plans to shut down the manufacturing and logistics facilities at 10101 Roosevelt Blvd. in West Torresdale and 2101 Hornig Road in Somerton, the company said in a WARN notice filed with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry. The facilities are located less than three miles away from each other.
