Medical Office Hits Market for Redevelopment

Medical office building in downtown Philadelphia hits market for potential redevelopment

A 10-story medical office building in downtown Philadelphia is now on the market. It is being offered as a potential redevelopment site, joining other office properties shifting to new uses.

The 135,825-square-foot building at 919–921 Walnut St. is listed for $13.5 million on LoopNet. Built in the early 20th century, it is known as the Neville Building.

According to the listing, the site allows many uses, including residential, hospitality, retail, office, or institutional redevelopment. It is also labeled a “High Vacancy Property.”

Demand for office space continues to contract late in the year. As a result, this property could be the next to transition to a different purpose.
